Day One of Eleni and Asad’s 3-day destination wedding in Sifnos wasn't just a warm-up—it was a total immersive experience. The morning saw their guest list boarding three private catamarans to hunt for Sifnos’ secret coves. Between dives into turquoise, "locals-only" waters and a lazy brunch on board, it was the ultimate antidote to the traditional, stuffy rehearsal dinner.
As the sun began to dip, we headed to Loggia Sifnos, a venue literally perched on the side of a cliff overlooking the Aegean. The masters of fire-based gastronomy, Nomade et Sauvage, set up their open-air kitchen in the wild, preparing a nomadic dinner experience over open flames that filled the salty air with the scent of woodsmoke and foraged herbs. To pull it all together, the psychedelic-indie duo Wera & Nick provided the soundtrack, their ritualistic melodies weaving through the Kastro arches. It was alternative, soulful, begining to a weekend that redifined destination wedding in planning in Greece.
